A Heavenly Slice of Joy
I've come to believe that God's Kingdom is much larger than my evangelical upbringing once lead me to believe. More tangibly, I am rightly no longer comfortable attempting to officiate who's in and who's out. All I can truly focus upon is myself.
And I sure can't help but wonder if a little slice of Heaven isn't contained in this four and half minute clip, because i weep like a baby thinking on the Gospel every time I watch this.
Lord, grant me the strength to be an instrument in bringing a slice of Heaven here to Earth, and grant me the courage to do the work of the Gospel where it needs to be done. Amen.

Hey James ... random question. And hello by the way! Do you know how I can help get our church website found on google through basic keyword searches? Do I need to pay them something, or is that different? I don't want to run ads on google, just have a better return on organic searches. The site is www.stillwatersfamily.com
thanks bro (pldoerfler@juno.com) and have a fantastic easter. Peter Doerfler
Yo Peter,
Welcome in to the million dollar question in Search Engine Marketing. In short, Google basically has an algorithm that calculates best how to return search results. As a result, everyone wants to be first in a Google search, so it is highly competitive.
I'd say, know the search terms you want to be found under, put those search terms in the Title of your web page (the title at the top of your browser window). Also embed your search terms in some text at the top of your landing page for your church. These will help, but by no means will be a guarantee. You should consider using paid search ads as well with these search terms in them. It can only help and might hurt your chances of being seen if left out.
Also popularity is a component of the algorithm. This is why Amazon and Wiki almost always show up in a google search. Everyone goes there. In bound traffic to you site is a helpful factor. Getting members of your congregation to link their blogs to your church website will be helpful in this manner.
Hope that helps a little. I'm not an expert on Search Engine Optimization (there are actually people you can pay to optimize your site for SEO) but that's the little i know of it.
Hope you're well man.
