Noted Blogger in Iraq
About a month ago a nice pacific northwesterner dropped a comment on my blog. Upon visiting her site I found a blog worthy of note, aptly titled Baghdad Burning. I have included it on the right-hand index, under the "Exceptional Bloggers" heading, and simply titled, "Girl in Iraq." Here's an excerpt from her post election entry:

"To the red states (and those who voted for Bush): You deserve no better- I couldn't wish worse on you if I tried. He represents you perfectly... and red really is your color. It's the color of the blood of thousands of Iraqis and by the time this four-year catastrophe in the White House is over, tousands of Americans, likely. To the blue states (and those who were thinking when they voted): Condolences. Good luck- you'll need it.

I would recommend your visiting this Girl in Iraq, as she often has words our American news media hasn't the balls to discuss.

Thanks for sharing music last night.

My last post was on your blog was months ago, maybe on your "I voted against pres. Bush - damn that felt good" post. Then I didn't have a blog and posted as "Mike Crockett" (my name). I would just like to tout the fact that Starbucks is giving you free coffee if you bring in your own mug.

I ALWAYS have a travel mug with me, and today I forgot mine. Sadness.

I am a huge propo of public transit.

That being said, we're totally going to buy a car, because B works too far away. If he worked in the city limits, we'd probably be ok.
